The RV Lifestyle and doing it on your own
Over the summer, sometimes when I’ve been sitting at home in the evenings I have thought to myself “what am I doing with myself everyday?” I go out and make money everyday to survive. And that’s it. I don’t experience much else. There isn’t time to do much else.
So, these blogs (these current blogs), are not about me living in an RV as yet. They are about me figuring out a way to live better and possibly escape this rat race life. I cannot afford to buy an RV just yet. But, this could be in my future.
I know one thing for sure. I’m tired of trading all my time for money. Is there another way? These blogs I guess would be about sharing my ideas with the public. Sharing ideas about living a less stressful life. And living in an RV will probably be one of the ways I will do this. Hear! Hear!
I live in a somewhat busy area, and as I’m writing this I am enjoying the sounds of maybe just three or four cars driving down the main road near me every three minutes. Then when the flow of traffic stops I can hear the crickets. It’s so peaceful.
The next day..
So, to me, if I had a way to be able to work from home, I would jump on this living on the road adventure sooner than later. In my other blog’s I’ve mentioned that I should be able to get into this lifestyle within two years.
I’ve been watching a few videos on YouTube about the overall set up inside an RV or van, and the costs in general. Things like setting up a power source within the vehicle, setting up a seating area, and a place to work & sleep.
These people are inspiring me because they are pretty enthusiastic and seem to enjoy their lives. A few years ago when I was travelling, I saw this small cabin. And I thought to myself that I wish I could be there and just write. All by myself. Imagine. I don’t know if that will ever happen but that would be nice. There’s just something about being able to write with no distractions that makes me happy. Our day to day jobs get in the way. I’m not complaining. Life is amazing in itself, but our lives are only getting busier and busier. We have so much that is expected of us everyday.
There must be another way to live!
